As some of you may know, I'll be starting my exchange year in Japan at the beginning of next month! After recovering bit by bit from my end-of-the-last-year art block/depression, Ive been really busy with the preparations for the trip. I've been constantly running between my school, bank, Japanese embassy and Kela, filling dozen kinds of forms and packing my stuff to move out from the student flat I've been living these past 2 and a half years in. There's propably no need to specify that I'm really excited, nervous, and scared at the same time.
I really don't know how I got the time for it, but in February I was selling my art at the artist alley of Desucon Frostbite. I want to thank all the wonderfull people who showed up at my table! Especially those who supported my living by buying my art! Thanks to you I actually survived the past month! Thank you!
Going to Tokyo to study animation will propably be anyting but easy, but I hope I'll make it with my tolerable Japanese. Hopefully this year I'll learn to speak Japanese well enough to actually chat with my Japanese friends. I'll try to share my experiences with all of you when I get the chance, so stay tuned, guys!
